Preconstruction Intern

Responsibilities

• Review contract drawings and owner requests for proposals.
• Aid in building HCSS estimates or excel rough order of magnitude estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Solicit or coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Research innovations and cost alternates to provide competitive advantage.
• Aid in recording meeting minutes, tracking RFIs or other organizational functions.
• Create PowerPoint presentations, schedules or other graphics that may be used in a proposal.
• Aid in reviewing or drafting proposal writing content.
• Maintain knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

Qualifications

Preconstruction interns are required to be currently enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university.

Pay

Min USD $25.00/Hr. Max USD $29.00/Hr.
