Preconstruction/Estimator

The firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects successfully across budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution, including financial performance and delivery strategy
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing project teams
• Oversee project cost controls, forecasting, pay applications, and profitability
• Develop, track, and communicate detailed project schedules and milestones
• Manage change orders, subcontractor buyouts, and contract execution
• Identify project risks early and implement practical, client-focused solutions
• Maintain site logistics and build plans to meet constructability goals
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, including OSHA compliance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partners
• Support professional development of team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, scheduling, and construction operations
• Proficiency with project management and cost forecasting software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred:
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex project challenges
• Experience with subcontractor negotiations and dispute resolution
• Familiarity with scheduling software and BIM tools

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
