About the role
Precision Toolroom Machinist is needed to operate CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality metal parts. The position involves setting up machines, programming tools, operating machinery, inspecting workpieces, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and manual machines to manufacture metal parts according to specifications.
- Set up machines, program tools, and adjust settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect workpieces for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain product standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in machining or related field.
- Proficiency in using CNC and manual machine tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience with quality control processes preferred.
- Knowledge of metalworking materials and processes beneficial.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and/or CAM software.
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule
