Precision Metal Forming Machine Operator
Position Overview
We are looking for a Precision Metal Forming Machine Operator to produce high-quality metal components using CNC press brake equipment. This role is responsible for machine setup, part inspection, and ensuring finished products meet blueprint specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with fabrication drawings, precision measuring tools, and CNC metal forming equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work orders before production
- Select the correct tooling, dies, and machine settings based on production requirements
- Inspect parts during and after production to verify dimensional accuracy and overall quality
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, to confirm specifications
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety procedures
- Follow established manufacturing processes and quality standards throughout production
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and standard shop documentation
- Basic math skills and experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday
Requirements Before Hire
