Precision Finishing Technician -2nd Shift

About the role

This 2nd shift (4:00 PM–2:30 AM, four-day work week), shift premium differential, candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring debur and polish machines to ensure all parts meet work order specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Simultaneously works with our debur and polish machines to completely remove imperfections according to specifications
• Accurately reads and completes work orders in given order
• Completes assigned work in the allotted time to maintain satisfactory production levels
• Responsible for proper safety, set-up and maintenance of tools and machinery as necessary to effectively and efficiently complete the finishing process
• Notifies engineering personnel when corrective action is required
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Tracks and record the correct number and types of parts completed in our ERP system

Requirements

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate verbally

Qualifications

• Physical strength and stamina necessary to handle machines
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally
