About the role
As a Precision CNC Milling Machinist at Genuine Machine Products, Inc., you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce tight-tolerance parts. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production deadlines.Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate part production
- Perform setup and adjustments on CNC machines to optimize production efficiency
- Monitor machine tools to ensure they are running smoothly and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and maintain documentation of work performed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in CNC milling operations
- Proficiency in using various CNC milling machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
