Precast Production Labor

Overview

Jersey Precast is seeking dedicated full-time Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced concrete products fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in working with precast/prestressed concrete products and a strong construction aptitude.

Experience

• Min. 1 year in fabrication of precast concrete products or with a leading Construction firm.
• Preparation, pouring, and finishing concrete.
• Fabrication of the rebar cages.
• Concrete Patching and Repairs.
• Basic carpentry.
• Driving a forklift.
• Operating power tools and construction/fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cleaning, assembling, and setting up the molds to produce large concrete products.
• Cutting, bending, tying, and fixing rebar assemblies.
• Pouring and finishing concrete.
• Stripping concrete products from the molds.
• Finishing and repairing concrete products.
• Keeping the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.

What makes you stand out

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read production drawings is a big plus; but we will train you!
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climbing, kneeling, and working long hours.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
• Lawfully documented to work in the US (we E-Verify)
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
