Job Summary
The pre-visit planning authorization/insurance specialist will arrange for the efficient and accurate collection of pre-registration information to secure timely and proper payment for services rendered at McDonough District Hospital. These duties are focused on securing the revenue due to MDH for services provided to patients in all outpatient departments.
Job Specifications
- Educational Requirement: High school graduate
- Experience: Previous medical receptionist/clerical experience or a background in general office work preferred
- Technical Skills: Typing/keyboarding experience required with a minimum of 35 wpm
- Other Requirements: Successfully complete the designated orientation program for this position
Expected Pay
Expected pay for this position is $17.55-$23.69. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
