Pre-Season Tax Professional

About the role

Conduct tax interviews with clients, increase retention of all clients, offer additional products and services, and generate business growth by supporting business-to-business sales activities. Provide IRS audit support and attend audits as needed. Further develop tax expertise and mentor and support teammates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience completing individual returns
• Tax planning and audit support experience
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with a Windows-based computer system
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Availability to work in multiple locations and/or multiple hours

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $80.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
