Pre school teacher position
Job Summary
As an educator at Little Sprouts Discovery Center, you will provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures each child's social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
Responsibilities
- Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels
- Documents learning experience through displays and pictures
- Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families daily
- Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for toddlers
- Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
- Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a preschool environment
- Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels at speaking with parents
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Shows initiative; strong work ethic
- High school diploma

Compensation
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
About the Role
Little Sprouts Discovery Center opened in January 2020 for the children of employees of Farm Bureau companies. The center provides state-of-the-art classrooms with extra space, materials, and equipment to stimulate growth in all areas of development. Beautiful, large playgrounds are divided by age groups and equipped for various types of hands-on learning.
