Position Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Implement preschool curriculum that supports children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Conduct ongoing observations and assessments of student development.
- Maintain classroom records and communicate regularly with families.
- Collaborate with administration and teaching teams to support student success.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess one of the following:
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- A Degree in Education.
- A Degree in a related field such as Child and Family Studies, Early Childhood Development, or a similar discipline.
- Brigance Screening Certification (preferred but not required).
