About the Role

SelectQuote is hiring for the Sales Qualification Associate ("SQA") role within our SelectQuote Qualifications Team. This unlicensed position involves handling all insurance product inquiries, understanding consumer needs, and triaging them to a licensed agent. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where employees are rewarded for their achievements. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition into sales after proving success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Paid training; we provide all the tools needed for success.
  • Create a positive first impression of SelectQuote with a conversational, energetic tone.
  • Answer approximately 200 inbound calls daily from sales prospects and third-party partners.
  • Transfer potential customers to a licensed insurance agent.
  • Educate consumers on SelectQuote’s value proposition: "We shop, you save," using our 20+ A-rated carrier comparison technology.
  • Focus on script adherence, client screening, and overcoming objections to assist customers in their shopping experience.
  • Receive and implement improvement coaching.
  • Meet and exceed monthly goals for transfer rates and other key performance indicators.
  • Thrive in a competitive team atmosphere with a culture that rewards performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Sales experience is preferred; candidates with a sales mindset are ideal.
  • Call center, sales with metrics, or performance-based client-facing roles in the last 2 years are preferred.
  • Experience working in a professional office setting.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Dedicated workspace free from distractions.
  • Hardwired high-speed internet connection with a minimum download and upload speed of 20mbps.
