About The Role
This is an unlicensed position. Candidates with Insurance Licenses will not be considered. The Sales Qualification Associate ("SQA") role within our SelectQuote Qualifications Team handles all of SelectQuote's insurance product inquiries. Associates work with consumers to understand their needs and triage them to a licensed agent. Responsibilities
- Paid training; we will give you all the tools you need for success
- Create a positive 1st impression of SelectQuote with a conversational, energetic tone
- Answer approximately 200 inbound calls daily from sales prospects and third-party partners
- Transfer potential customers to a licensed insurance agent
- Educate consumers on SelectQuote’s value proposition of “We shop, you save” through our 20+ A-Rated carrier comparison shopping technology
- Focus on script adherence, client screening, and handling objections to assist customers in their shopping experience
- Receive improvement coaching and implement suggested actions
- Meet and exceed monthly goals for transfer rates and other key performance indicators
- Thrive in a competitive team atmosphere that rewards performance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sales experience preferred: call center, sales with metrics, or a performance-based client-facing job in the last 2 years
- Experience working in a professional office setting
- Job stability
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Private, dedicated workspace free from distractions
- Hardwired high-speed internet connection with a minimum download and upload speed of 20mbps
