Essential Functions
- Serves as senior-level pre-sales and post-sales technical support specialist by developing costed solution designs for professional services, managed services and product sales in support of the sales team.
- Develops and documents new systems solutions or customizes existing systems to meet AccountabilIT and customer needs.
- Prepares costs for designed solutions with an emphasis on setup and ongoing management costs based upon AccountabilIT systems management standards.
- Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
- Provides technical knowledge and assists the sales team in responding to RFP's or preparing proposals.
- Presents technical side of proposal to prospect customers in a sales environment.
- Reviews contracts to ensure technical integrity.
- Works with the operations group to prepare standard service definitions and costing models.
- Remains informed of new IT technology developments and trends; makes recommendations to management on desirable additions and developments.
- Manages AccountabilIT pre-sales engineering and discovery efforts on qualified opportunities to streamline the company’s business understanding and technical approach of every client.
- Manages the written scoping and documentation of all formal Professional Services Group consulting engagements.
- Provides technical insight into new and/or complementary offerings to the AccountabilIT roadmap.
- Works with the company’s sales team to create an efficient pre-sales/SOW ecosystem with a defined list of deliverables amongst groups matching an internal SLA for accountability.
- Works in conjunction with the company’s sales and channel teams to vet developing technical relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of professional work experience
- Minimum five years in technical role or a record of achievement in a similar sales role
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 licensing models including associated components (e.g. ATP, MEM, Defender for Endpoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with Office 365 migrations and Azure migrations
