Pre-Sales Consultant

About the role

As a key member of the Pre-Sales team, you will prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of Trintech’s Record to Report accounting solutions, assist sales in determining the right solution for customers, and serve as an industry and product expert within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of all Trintech’s Record to Report accounting solutions
• Set up standard and custom solution demonstrations
• Assist sales in determining the right solution to meet the customer’s needs
• Keep current on new product functionality, industry trends, and accounting standards
• Educate prospects and clients through webinars
• Network at corporate and marketing events with existing customers to maintain relationships and promote additional products and services
• Serve as an industry and product expert within the organization and provide feedback to Product Management

Requirements

• 3+ years of Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including financial statements, balance sheets, and accounting software
• Knowledge of software & hardware systems, implementation processes, and project planning related to application & enterprise software implementations
• Experience in FINTECH and financial roles in industry
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Accountancy knowledge is desired
• ERP knowledge is desired
• Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with clients
• Must be able to travel as required
