Pre-Owned Sales Consultant
About the role
Jack Demmer Automotive Group is seeking a Full-Time Pre-Owned Sales Professional at Jack Demmer Lincoln. This position is open to those with or without prior automotive sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their needs and identify the right vehicle
- Demonstrate vehicle features and technology
- Conduct professional test drives
- Present pricing, purchase, lease, and financing options
- Respond to internet leads, phone calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Set and confirm customer appointments
- Maintain relationships with previous customers and generate repeat and referral business
- Develop strong product knowledge of Lincoln and pre-owned inventory
Requirements
No automotive sales experience required. Must be comfortable talking with people, willing to learn, and motivated by the opportunity to control your income.
Qualifications
Enjoys meeting and talking with people, competitive and motivated by results, strong desire to succeed, communicates professionally in person, by phone, text, and email, comfortable using computers, the internet, and basic Microsoft Office applications, confident presenting options and asking for the sale, dependable and has a stable work history, willing to learn and be coached, understands the importance of follow-up and customer service, works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, previous retail, hospitality, customer service, inside sales, or outside sales experience is a plus but not required.

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a positive attitude.

Pay
$50,000+ first-year earning potential with commission-based compensation with significant upside.
