Pre-op/ Post-Op Registered Nurse PRN
White Fence Surgical Suites is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse.
About the role
The RN plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and implements all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients in accordance with accepted standards of care. Ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards. The RN cares for patients of all ages, from 1 month to geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients.
- Ensure high-quality and safe patient care in compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and Federal/State standards.
- Make decisions based on nursing judgment and prioritize/organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
- Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state.
- ACLS certification required.
Schedule
- Weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call.
- Some later evenings required.
