Overview
Pre Op PACU RNs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. Pre Op PACU RNs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op.

Responsibilities
Northwest Georgia Surgery Center is hiring a Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Current State of Georgia Nursing License
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 3 years experience preferred intra-operative setting.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
