Pre-K Paraprofessional - Eastside

Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Pre-K Paraprofessional at Eastside Elementary School is to support classroom instruction under the supervision of a teacher. This includes assisting with lesson preparation, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized attention to students.

• Assist in lesson preparation and implementation
• Support classroom activities and routines
• Provide individualized attention to students
• Supervise students during breaks and transitions
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Passing background check and criminal history review

Pay

$15,200.00 - $16,720.00 per year
