Pre-k Lead Teacher– After School

Responsibilities

  • Engage kids in learning activities and play-based learning
  • Support students' social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the program
  • Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress
  • Adapt to changes in the school calendar and program schedules

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field
  • Child Development Associate Credential or equivalent Office-recognized credential
  • 9 credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or equivalent Office recognized credential
  • Medical clearance to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB)
  • Positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance
  • Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children

Qualifications
