Pre-K Instructional Assistant

Qualifications

• 48 college credit hours or 2 years of experience working with children in an instructional setting

Responsibilities

• Guide children in working and playing harmoniously with other children
• Prepare for daily activities
• Implement curriculum plans as directed by the Early Childhood Coordinator
• Assist children in developing self-regulation strategies
• Maintain accurate records for children
• Ensure the general safety and well-being of assigned children
• Collaborate with the classroom instructor on planning activities, lesson plans, and events
• Complete annual employee training
• Maintain a neat learning and play environment
• Supervise children during regular play periods and lunch supervision
• Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students and confer with parents as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Duty Days: 144
Reports To: Early Childhood Coordinator

Pay

$17.70/hour

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
