Full-time

About the role

This role is focused on helping the sales and production teams prepare files for production. You will use Adobe Suite products to proof files for quality, convert file formats, and manipulate layouts for the best fit and finish, ensuring files are print-ready. This is not a designer role and does not necessarily lead to a design career, though previous design experience can be helpful. Responsibilities include file prep, adjustments, and making art changes to customer-provided files to deliver print-ready assets to the production team. There are no creative design tasks in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Set up files quickly and accurately to ensure a productive workflow.
  • Communicate with the sales team to meet order requirements.
  • Work with the production team to ensure files are optimized for their success.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, both physically and digitally.

Requirements

  • High level of computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft and Google platforms, email, and chat.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both electronically and in person.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator).
  • Ability to understand production workflows and systems.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
  • Ability to learn processes and production systems quickly.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Reliability and ability to work scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs with or without assistance, if needed.

Helpful Skills

  • Getting Information: Observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Can-do Attitude: Willingness to be taught and learn new things.
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates: Providing information via telephone, written form, email, or in person.
  • Team Player: Willingness to help where needed—no "not my job" attitude.

Schedule

  • Full-time, onsite position (remote/hybrid may be available after a training period and demonstrated high performance).
  • Hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday (flexible hours possible).
