About the Role

Join a rapidly growing construction team responsible for delivering one of the largest hyperscale data center build programs in the industry. This role will focus on leading preconstruction efforts for mission-critical facilities while partnering with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to deliver projects efficiently and at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction activities for large-scale GPU and hyperscale data center developments.
  • Coordinate constructability reviews across electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines.
  • Evaluate sites for electrical capacity, utility infrastructure, civil requirements, structural considerations, and project phasing.
  • Develop bid packages and RFPs while managing general contractor preconstruction services, bid reviews, scheduling, labor pricing, and subcontractor evaluations.
  • Negotiate with developers, landlords, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
  • Prepare conceptual budgets, GMP estimates, and ongoing cost analyses while validating estimates against market conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive project handoff packages for construction teams.
  • Partner with Contracts, Legal, Procurement, and Commercial teams to mitigate project risks and support contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading preconstruction for large-scale data center, industrial, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil systems.
  • Experience performing site due diligence, including geotechnical investigations, utilities, zoning, permitting, and logistics planning.
  • Experience developing scopes of work, RFPs, contractor bid evaluations, and procurement strategies.
  • Strong construction estimating and cost management experience from conceptual budgeting through GMP.
  • Experience with high-density power distribution, liquid cooling systems, modular construction, or hyperscale data centers is highly desirable.
