The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, invites applicants to apply for a part-time, teacher-clinician position. The department is responsible for teaching pediatric dentistry at the pre-doctoral level.

Requirements

Primary Purpose And Essential Functions: The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, invites applicants to apply for a part-time, teacher-clinician; 0.5 to 2 days per week, 40 weeks per year. The department is responsible for teaching pediatric dentistry at the pre-doctoral level.

Qualifications

• Current Knowledge of: Current Edition of AAPD Pediatric Dentistry Reference. Dental school educational processes. Restorative and preventive information and technique.
• Education: DDS/DMD or international equivalent; degree earned from ADA-accredited school of dentistry is preferred. Certificate or Master’s degree indicating successful completion of an ADA-accredited specialty training program in pediatric dentistry is required. Current, active license to practice dentistry. Valid CPR certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is desirable, but not required.

Pay

Hiring Range: $65 per hour.

Schedule

Up to 2 days per week, 40 weeks per year.
