Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Pre‑Clerk to work in our Salt Lake City, UT Service Center. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi‑line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls on a multi‑line phone system
- Redirect calls to appropriate contacts
- Perform data entry
- Process driver paperwork
- Assist dispatchers
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
- Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy
- Dependable and well‑organized
- Computer literate
- Strong office, telephone, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast‑paced environment
- Freight logistics experience
