Pre-Assembly Lead Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Lead the team that assembles parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules in a high-density, high-precision racking manufacturing environment. Our customers benefit from up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack systems, maximized vertical space, improved accuracy, and minimized labor costs and product damage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely handle power tools, packaging tools, including torque wrenches and other hand tools
• Lead the setup and clean out of assembly cells by operating overhead crane and running electric stackers
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
• Perform visual and functional inspections of assembled frames
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to lead
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
• Load and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet mover

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines (up to 50 pounds)
• Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools
• Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
