Pre-Apprentice Electrician

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Pre-Apprentice Electrician in Little Chute, Wisconsin.

About the role

Under direct supervision, assists electricians in performing electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Runs wire or cable according to job specifications
• Uses power tools to drill holes for routing cable or wire
• Installs basic electrical components including receptacles, switches, etc.
• Delivers equipment to job sites
• Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• OSHA 10 hour certification or ability to obtain
• Pre-approval for acceptance in ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program required
• Prior mechanical, farming, or commercial electrical experience a plus
• Ability to obtain/maintain Wisconsin Registered Electrician License
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles
