About the role

The Laboratory Services Coordinator coordinates work performed by Laboratory Support Services staff within the Laboratory. This position works directly with staff and oversees the work performed to accomplish work goals as required. This position assists laboratory leadership in ensuring that the mission of the laboratory regarding quality and service is consistently met.

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with staff and oversees the work performed to accomplish work goals as required.
  • Aids in ensuring the mission of the laboratory regarding quality and service is consistently met.
  • Provides leadership, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a clinical lab setting.
