About the role
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse implements all physician orders, ensures continuity and quality of nursing care, and continually evaluates each patient’s condition. The role includes maintaining patient safety, comfort, and privacy, assisting physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile technique, and providing comprehensive post-anesthesia/sedation care. The nurse is also responsible for patient and family assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.
Responsibilities
- Implement all physician orders and ensure continuity and quality of nursing care.
- Continually evaluate patients’ conditions to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique.
- Provide total comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
- Conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient and family discharge preparation.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all phases of the perioperative process, including surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) experience a plus.
- Strong communication and human relations skills.
- Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.

Pay
Hourly range: $38.03 - $47.54 (based on experience).
Schedule
Monday through Friday, daytime hours. No weekends, nights, calls, or holidays.
