About the role

At itmX, you’ll be part of the Consulting team, working on exciting projects around our itmX crm suite. You’ll collaborate with creative minds, experienced developers, and solution-oriented thinkers to shape and implement solutions in the SAP environment. Your role goes beyond coding—you’ll actively contribute ideas, ask questions, and develop solutions that truly benefit our customers.

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for our itmX crm suite using modern SAP technologies (CDS, Fiori/UI5, RAP, BTP, ABAP OO) or learn them on the job.
• Serve as a bridge between product development and consulting, working closely with project developers, consultants, and product management to understand requirements and shape customer solutions.
• Accompany projects and development tasks from concept to go-live, including design, implementation, optimization, documentation, and testing.
• Ensure performant and stable processes.
• Work either from our office in Pforzheim or remotely from home.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a comparable qualification—your passion for development and technology matters more than your title.
• Programming experience (e.g., in ABAP or another language) and a desire to grow in the SAP environment.
• You see yourself as a developer, not just a coder—you want to understand the "why" behind what you build and how it helps the customer.
• Ability to work independently, structured, and with a high standard of quality.
• Enthusiasm for learning: modern SAP technologies, agile methods, customer interaction, and teamwork.
• Curiosity, openness, and a growth mindset—you don’t need to know everything upfront; we’ll help you learn.
• Good English skills and willingness to travel occasionally.
