About the role

We are seeking at the earliest possible date for our locations in Bielefeld and Münster practical instructors (m/f/d) with a focus on emergency paramedic training. Upon request, we offer you the opportunity to study part-time alongside your work.

The Studieninstitut Westfalen-Lippe is a training and continuing education institution of the municipalities in Westphalia-Lippe. In the Department of Medicine and Emergency Medical Services, we plan and organize courses and instruction for approximately 5,400 participants annually. At the center of our pedagogical and organizational work are the learners. We measure our success by their success.

Requirements

• Qualified as an emergency paramedic (Notfallsanitäter*in)
• Possess the pedagogical qualification as a practical instructor (Praxisanleiter*in)
• Experience in emergency medical services, as a practical instructor, and teaching experience
• Ability to design instruction in a practical, action-oriented, and innovative manner, as well as to reflect pedagogically
• Accustomed to working independently and autonomously in a team, and willing to continuously develop professionally
• Possess a Class B driver's license
• Desirable: Qualification as a group leader (Gruppenführer*in) in emergency medical services

Responsibilities

• Conception and delivery of instruction in emergency paramedic training
• Teaching activities in the training, further education, and continuing education of emergency medical services personnel
• Development and further development of course content in light of advances in medicine, science, research, and technology
• Creative lesson design in a modern and digitally equipped environment
• Participation in examination committees
• Monitoring and participation in the establishment of quality standards in training, further education, and continuing education

Pay
