Practice Support Analyst, Structured Finance

About the role
As a Practice Support Analyst in our New York office, you will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and executive assistants within the Structured Finance Department. Your objective is to reduce administrative burden for the department and provide the highest quality administrative support possible. We seek enthusiastic team members with strong technological skills who are committed to delivering service at the highest level every single day.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to implement best practices and process enhancements
- Edit and revise transaction documents based on project manager and attorney requests
- Assist with the preparation and filing of reports to State and governmental agencies, such as IRS tax documents, state debt issuance filings, UCC filings, corporate orders, and other statutorily required filings
- Generate signature pages and assist with distributing, tracking execution status, and compiling completed signature pages
- Assemble and upload final documents to cloud-based file-sharing sites
- Clean up and document processing after transaction closings
- Finalize deal transcripts and internal record-keeping
- Assist in the opening of new matters, time entry, and scheduling
- Special projects, as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- One to three years of practical work experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide consistent, high-quality, client-ready output with minimal supervision
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to client service and teamwork
- High technology aptitude and excellent computer skills in the full MS Office suite and Adobe
- Some research and database skills
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $55,000 - $75,000. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, determined by firm and individual performance.
