What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop an exceptional team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
- Partner with the Medical Director to achieve strategic, operational, and financial goals.
- Monitor hospital performance through key business metrics and identify opportunities for continued growth.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, payroll, inventory, and operational workflows.
- Support an outstanding client experience while ensuring excellent patient care.
- Cookbook team members through regular feedback, performance management, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion change, continuous improvement, and team engagement as the hospital grows.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary hospital management experience required.
- Proven leadership and team development experience.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance and hospital KPIs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service to clients, patients, and team members.
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification is strongly preferred, or a willingness to pursue certification.
