What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop an exceptional team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Partner with the Medical Director to achieve strategic, operational, and financial goals.
  • Monitor hospital performance through key business metrics and identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, payroll, inventory, and operational workflows.
  • Support an outstanding client experience while ensuring excellent patient care.
  • Cookbook team members through regular feedback, performance management, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion change, continuous improvement, and team engagement as the hospital grows.

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary hospital management experience required.
  • Proven leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance and hospital KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service to clients, patients, and team members.
  • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification is strongly preferred, or a willingness to pursue certification.

Compensation & Benefits
