The Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. As a team leader at a "people first" organization, the PM guides their team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management. They are responsible for enhancing patient experiences, driving top line sales, increasing margins, controlling payroll expenses, and boosting profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

• Guides the team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensures the practice provides professional eye exams and medical services, accepts vision insurance plans, and offers remarkable patient service.
• Works closely with the District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice.
• Builds an effective team that collaborates to achieve results, identifies and selects top talent, and ensures compliance with AEG's values and handbook guidelines.
• Adapts to new problems, learns quickly, and shares best practices within the AEG platform.
• Ensures daily sales reviews, identifies gaps, and implements solutions to close those gaps.
• Protects the company from loss through loss prevention measures.
• Collaborates with Human Resources to maintain employee commitment to the handbook guidelines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity.
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field in management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Optician certification preferred.
