The Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) is accountable for all aspects of the location's business operations. As a team leader at a "people first" organization, the PM guides their team through development programs including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. The PM ensures memorable patient experiences, drives top line sales, increases margins, controls payroll expenses, and enhances profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

• Guides team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensures professional eye exams and medical services are provided, accepts vision insurance plans, and provides remarkable patient service.
• Works closely with District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice.
• Builds an effective team that collaborates to achieve results.
• Identifies and selects top talent that aligns with AEG's values and meets long-term sustainability needs.
• Adapts to new problems and solves creatively, focusing on personal and team development.
• Ensures daily sales reviews, identifies gaps, and implements solutions to close those gaps.
• Protects the company through loss prevention and partners with Human Resources to ensure employee commitment to handbook guidelines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity.
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field in management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Optician certification preferred.
