Requirements

  • Position Summary: Kapnick is building a next-generation Personal Insurance Practice focused on serving high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and key executives. This is a leadership opportunity to design, build, and scale a premier Private Client offering within a well-established, growth-oriented firm.
  • Key Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Practice Leadership & Strategy: Execute and refine the Private Client vision, build and lead Private Client and Retention teams, establish structure, roles, compensation alignment, and accountability.
    • Growth & Business Development: Develop a referral-driven growth engine, build partnerships with wealth managers and internal executives, drive consistent, high-quality new business flow.
    • Client Experience: Create a best-in-class, high-touch service model, expand services to family members, ensure exceptional retention and satisfaction.
    • Team Leadership: Build a culture of empowerment and accountability, develop high-performing relationship managers, foster cross-functional collaboration.
    • Carrier & Partner Relationships: Strengthen carrier relationships, align carrier strategy with client needs.
    • Financial Performance: Own P&L for the practice, meet or exceed growth and profitability targets, drive operational efficiency.
  • Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years in personal insurance, including high net-worth segment, valid P&C Insurance license, proven leadership experience, strong carrier knowledge, strong relationship builder, strategic and execution-focused high emotional intelligence, proficient in Microsoft Suite, ability to resolve problems independently, experience working with multiple carriers and rating systems, ability to work under pressure and deadlines, empowering and collaborative leadership style, enterprise-minded solutions-oriented culture-driven.
