Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorney practice groups, clients, and cross-functional teams to identify high-value use cases and contribute to the design and deployment of innovative AI and technology solutions.
- Develop and implement customized AI workflows, tools, and playbooks tailored to the needs of legal teams, improving efficiency, consistency, and scalability of work processes.
- Lead engaging group and one-on-one training sessions and proactively identify skill gaps through user data and feedback.
- Equip attorneys and business professionals to confidently adopt and effectively use new technologies.
- Curate and maintain a centralized collection of resources, materials, and best practices to support continuous learning and the consistent use of approved legal technologies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the firm’s “AI as a Service” program, providing responsive, hands-on technical support and guidance.
- Identify opportunities for innovation by monitoring emerging legal technologies and evolving service delivery models, translating insights into actionable opportunities.
- Create and distribute current awareness updates to keep attorneys and stakeholders informed of relevant legal, industry, and technology developments.
- Analyze data for alignment, leveraging usage data and stakeholder input to identify training and development opportunities, ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with practice group priorities and firm-wide objectives.
- Assist in assessing information resources and technology tools, ensuring alignment with the firm’s innovation strategy, operational needs, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to broader innovation projects and collaborate with international offices as needed, including flexibility to support work outside standard U.S. business hours.
Requirements
- JD degree.
- PREFERRED: Master's degree in informatics/library science or bachelor’s degree in computer science, data/information systems, engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, legal researcher, or legal technologist in a legal environment.
- Proficiency with a variety of emerging and advanced legal technologies and research resources, particularly AI and automation solutions.
- Experience with developing and implementing technology solutions that improve efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluency in legal technology and AI (including GenAI/LLMs and automation), with the ability to translate capabilities into practical use cases.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training and driving user adoption.
