About the role

Vituity seeks a Hospital Medicine Practice Coordinator to join our team in Fresno, CA. This role is part of a larger team dedicated to transforming healthcare through collaboration and shared purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the coordinator for the site Vituity leadership and interface for the practice to the hospital and community.
  • Supports the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, nursing staff, and Vituity support team.
  • Provides administrative support to the site medical director and management team.
  • Supports the Medical Director and/or Site Management Team with site financials, including contract stipends, expense reimbursements, and site payroll timecards.
  • Super user for all Vituity software applications and point person for hospital software and hardware systems.
  • Supports providers in criminal or civil disputes, including subpoena handling, deposition scheduling, and fee schedule development.
  • Supports office operations, including meeting support, office systems, supplies, site events, and position procedure manuals.
  • Facilitates daily patient census and attends multi-disciplinary rounds.
  • Ensures adequate coverage for clinical schedules to maintain patient care continuity.
  • Collects minimal data metrics and supports operational programs.
  • Collaborates with Medical Director and/or Site Management Team for recruiting, onboarding, credentialing, and compliance.
  • Manages administrative tasks related to billing, documentation, and compliance.
  • Works with Vituity People Operations to ensure accurate site roster and compliance with employment laws and policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of administrative experience in an office or healthcare setting.
  • Associate degree in related healthcare or healthcare administration field preferred.
  • Experience working in the healthcare field preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
  • Intermediate MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
  • Strong consultation skills and ability to seek out information.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to be self-directed, motivated, and sensitive to deadlines.
  • Able to express ideas and convey information effectively in verbal and written communications.
  • Able to create a positive environment, clearly understand client/customer relationships, and promote Vituity's positive image.
  • Able to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level of proficiency.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position.
  • Able to read, understand, and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $25.39-$31.74/hr., exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
