Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI)

• Coordinates the data collection on the IRF-PAI
• Ensures the presence of supporting documentation
• Provides staff education to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines

Immediate Issue Resolution

• Captures and coordinates all efforts for immediate issue resolution concerning Section GG scoring

Data Review and Assistance

• Conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI related data
• Aids the PPS Manager with IRF-PAI completion

PPS Functions

• Collects IRF-PAI data
• Performs medical coding
• Transmits IRF-PAI information
• Corrects IRF-PAI errors as needed
