PPM Utility Laborer FT - NPPD (GGS) 9.2

We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Performs unskilled tasks as required by the foreman.
• Duties can include Plant Support activities (mowing, industrial cleaning, tool room attendant, runner, clean up, or general labor) but are not limited to these assignments.
• May be required to perform small maintenance jobs.

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience is desired.
• A minimum of one (1) year of power plant maintenance or construction work experience is desired.

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of items weighing a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
• Some environments are in high noise and vibrating areas.
