Powersports Service Writer

About the role

Jones Powersports is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Service Advisor / Writer to join their fast-paced powersports service department. Ideal candidates will have experience in powersports or automotive settings and a passion for motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately assess service needs
• Write repair orders and detailed service estimates
• Schedule appointments and manage service workflow
• Communicate clearly with customers on repairs, timelines, and costs
• Recommend maintenance and additional services
• Cook up with technicians to ensure efficient repairs
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience every time

Requirements

• Service advisor/writer experience (powersports or automotive preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in computer systems and dealer management software, with experience using Lightspeed a plus
• Passion for powersports is a big plus
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
