Southern States Toyotalift is hiring Forklift Technicians to service and repair PowerBoss rugged industrial floor cleaning equipment across our Florida and Georgia locations.
About the role
As a Forklift Technician specializing in PowerBoss equipment, you will perform service, maintenance, and repairs on industrial scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning machines. Our factory-trained technicians keep PowerBoss tools operating at peak performance, even in the most demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair PowerBoss scrubbers and sweepers, including models such as Nautilus Scrubber Sweeper, ATLAS Industrial Sweeper, and Armadillo 9x Industrial Sweeper.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on industrial cleaning equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Complete work orders and service reports accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide on-site service and support to customers as needed.
- Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing forklifts, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites within assigned region.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
- Experience with PowerBoss, Toyota, or similar brands is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
