Southern States Toyotalift is hiring Forklift Technicians to service and repair PowerBoss rugged industrial floor cleaning equipment across our Florida and Georgia locations.

About the role

As a Forklift Technician specializing in PowerBoss equipment, you will perform service, maintenance, and repairs on industrial scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning machines. Our factory-trained technicians keep PowerBoss tools operating at peak performance, even in the most demanding environments.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair PowerBoss scrubbers and sweepers, including models such as Nautilus Scrubber Sweeper, ATLAS Industrial Sweeper, and Armadillo 9x Industrial Sweeper.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete work orders and service reports accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide on-site service and support to customers as needed.
  • Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience servicing forklifts, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within assigned region.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.

Skills

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
  • Experience with PowerBoss, Toyota, or similar brands is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Locations: Multiple openings in Florida (Tampa, Winter Haven, Orlando, Ocala, Jacksonville, Lakeland) and Georgia (Valdosta, Macon, Midland, Albany).
