Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various industrial trucks (gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric) to move, stack, and retrieve materials. This role involves precise handling of lifting apparatuses to transport goods across the facility, ensuring production lines remain supplied and inventory is organized.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and maneuver various industrial trucks (gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric) equipped with specialized attachments (forks, clamps, or elevating platforms).
- Perform precise material handling, loading, and tiering of materials into high-density storage areas.
- Ensure production lines are constantly supplied with raw materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation, including recording weights or quantities on production schedules and labels.
- Perform basic equipment upkeep, such as lubricating parts or managing battery/gas levels.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- May require a valid driver’s license.
- 6+ months of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (1-2 years preferred).
- 1 year consistent work history.
Pay
Starting wage: $20.85/hour with shift differentials:
- Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM): +$1.25/hour
- Night Shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM): +$1.00/hour
Earning potential: up to $26.47/hour based on tenure.
Sign-on bonus: up to $2,000 total ($800 at 90 days, $1,200 at 180 days).
Schedule
Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) or afternoon shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM).
