Location: Remote (from Eastern or Central Time Zones) with extensive travel

Pay

$35–$70/hour (DOE) + 1.5× paid overtime (30–40 additional hours/week) + per diem + bonus

Schedule

• Full-time field service role
• ~70–80 hours per week with structured rotation and paid weeks off at home
• Rotation examples: 14 days on/7 days off, 21 days on/10 days off, 30 days on/14 days off
• 65%–75% travel; rotational schedule in the field followed by paid time off at home
• Start date: ASAP

About the role

Our client in the power solutions and electrical infrastructure industry is seeking Field Service Technicians & Crew Leaders with hands-on power transformer experience to support large-scale field projects. This role supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of power transformers at customer sites. Ideal candidates are technically capable with power transformers, safety-focused, self-directed, and comfortable working extended hours in challenging field environments. Crew Leaders must have proven field leadership experience. The position offers stability, substantial paid overtime, a travel rotation with paid scheduled time off, and strong earning potential while supporting critical power infrastructure projects nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair power transformers at customer and project sites
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on power transformers
• Support troubleshooting and diagnosis of transformers and related electrical system issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Work collaboratively with assigned crew members under a designated field crew leader
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure work quality meets company standards and industry regulations
• Travel extensively and work extended schedules in support of project requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe and operational condition

Requirements

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing power transformers (required)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints (required)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards (required)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Ability to travel 3 weeks at a time to project sites (required)
