Power Systems Software Engineer

Location: Remote (New Jersey)

About the role

Enhance, evolve, and support high-availability electricity market and grid management software applications. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot power systems application functionality. Participate in software design, development, testing, implementation, and production support activities. Create code fixes, model conversion tools, documentation, and user interface enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline
• Experience in Power Systems Analysis
• Experience with Power Systems Application Software Development and Implementation
• Knowledge of electricity markets, grid operations, or energy management systems
• Hands-on software development experience in Java, C++, or .NET
