Power Systems Engineer
About the role
This position serves as a Power Systems Engineer in Philadelphia, PA, supporting the US Navy's shipboard power generation and distribution systems. The role requires expertise in power systems engineering, with a focus on technologies, design, and processes relevant to Navy shipboard equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot power systems for naval vessels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement power system solutions

- Ensure compliance with Navy regulations and industry best practices
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for power system failures
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) in electrical power
- At least ten (10) years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer supporting Power Systems
- Experience with US Navy shipboard power generation and distribution systems
- Experience with electric propulsion systems
- Strong understanding of power systems design, technology, and processes
Qualifications
