Power Study Engineer
Job Description
This role supports the Power Services division by performing detailed power system studies and providing technical field support that ensures safe, reliable, and compliant electrical system performance. You’ll be responsible for analyzing system behavior, identifying risks, and supporting commissioning and maintenance activities that directly impact project safety, customer operations, and overall system reliability. Success in this role means delivering accurate engineering analysis, clear technical recommendations, and dependable field support—all while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in power system analysis or electrical design
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
- Proficiency with power system software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, Windmil, or similar
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and utility interconnection processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical writing ability and attention to detail
- PE license or the ability to obtain one is a strong plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Additional Information
Pay Range: $74,320-$83,610, plus incentive opportunities, or additional compensation.
