Power Project Manager

About the role

HDR Engineering is seeking a Power Project Manager to join our team of Program Management professionals. This role supports Program Managers in delivering programs in partnership with clients, involving substations, transmission lines, distribution lines, and associated strategic services.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and applying project management tools and techniques
• Leading the QA/QC process and ensuring world-class quality
• Maintaining frequent communication with clients to manage expectations and progress
• Collaborating with program leadership and contributing to monthly program reports
• Mentoring, training, and supervising junior staff
• Representing HDR for marketing and proposal development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 7 years related experience
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience
• PMP certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of program management experience
• Experience managing projects using PMIS systems
