Power Platform Developer

About the role

Acuity Inc. is seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform developer to support a federal client’s dynamic, fast-paced project. The developer will join a small, focused team to design, develop, integrate, deploy, maintain, enhance, train, and govern the client’s Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics technologies, modernizing and migrating business processes to the cloud. The role requires leveraging advanced coding to extend the platform’s native low-code capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support security, enterprise architecture, enterprise systems, service-oriented architecture, and interoperability
• Deploy applications in the cloud
• Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies within a large-scale application development environment
• Develop flexible, scalable, and highly available systems
• Work as part of an Agile team to deliver new business requirements by implementing stories provided by business analysts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the creation of mid-to-enterprise level software systems
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing, documenting, and developing web-based and stand-alone software applications with MS Dynamics/Power Platform
• Advanced-level skills in the following technologies:
  • Dynamics/Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas apps)
  • Power Automate
• Intermediate-level skills in the following technologies:
  • Dataverse/CDS custom plugins
  • C#
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • PCF Components
  • CSS
• Experience in design and implementation of SOAP and RESTful web services
• Experience integrating Dynamics solutions in Office 365 and Azure cloud environments
• Experience with automated configuration processes and tools such as PowerShell DSC, including installation, administration, coding, and facilitating developer training
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting a DevSecOps environment (code repository, binary repository, continuous integration/delivery, error tracking)
• Experience producing and grooming Agile product backlogs and interacting with Product Owners
• High comfort level with demoing or speaking directly to the customer
• Requirements gathering and analysis

• Azure Blob Storage

Clearance Requirements

Must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a High Risk Public Trust clearance.
