Power Plant Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate high pressure boilers and a variety of power plant equipment such as CHP, generators, fuel systems and air compressors
- Perform preventative maintenance, maintaining all operating logs, assisting during emergencies such as snow, fire, flood, and power loss
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to read, write and perform simple arithmetic calculations
- Must possess a comprehensive understanding of power plant equipment and operations, normally required with 3-5 years of on-the-job experience
- Must possess a current NJ Blue Seal Stationary Engineer's license
Environment
- Exposes operator to varying temperature conditions
- Exposes operator to high noise levels
- Exposes operator to electrical, mechanical and temperature hazards
Qualifications
- Valid and in good standing driver’s license issued by the state of New Jersey preferred due to the possibility of driving a facility vehicle to our various locations
Pay
Salary Range: 25.97 - 41.56 USD

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
